Avy Gravy lost her mind when we saw this neon yellow wrapping paper and it didn't take much to convince me to by two rolls...because let's face it, I have a wrapping paper addiction. Patterns, colors, affordability and versatility make it won of my fave things.
My gorgeous niece is celebrating her birthday this month so we decided to wrap her gift in this great paper to ship to her. The wrapping is simple but the impact comes from the playful mix of patterns and colors. The key to mixing patterns is contrast....plaid with florals, stripes with dots, damask with geometrics.
We used supplies we had lying around, mostly because it's snowing and we aren't leaving the house but I like the challenge of making it work with what we have. So We wrapped a strip of geometric paper from Paper Source around the middle, topped with a grosgrain ribbon in blue. Then we made a tag with a scrap of white cardstock and some glittery letter stickers in gold and glued it underneath the knot of the bow. Done.
