Arielle was one of those bride's who make you sad when you complete their order, she was such a pleasure to work with and always so open to unexpected ideas. She was fun and graceful and I think you can see that in these beautiful images taken by Anthony Ziccardi at her and John's elegant Spring wedding. We took our lead for the invitation suite from the Tiffany Blue of the bridesmaids dresses and the elegant Chateau their wedding was to take place. All was accented in a shimmery titanium.

Bride and Groom, Christina and Keith celebrated their special day at Meadow Wood Manor with a bright palette including fuchsia, orange and a bright fresh green, all set against a gorgeous grey. I love how the pops of color go against the grain of traditional fall colors.

Flowers by A Touch of Elegance really brought Christina's color palette to life and the whole experience was captured beautifully by Photos by Renee!

Grey invitations, by Catherine Kiff-Vozza, Couture Stationer, are printed with a fun and sophisticated mix of fonts and are accented by a custom quilted envelope liner. The reply card is printed with a beautiful watercolor treatment and enclosed in an bright orange envelope. See the whole suite here.

The bride's gorgeous dress and the bridesmaid's dresses were all from Bridal By Lisa and her beautiful and elegant make up was by House of Luciano...doesn't she look fabulous? Looks like it was a fantastic and festive day filled with lots of love and laughter, as it should be! Congratulations Christina and Keith!

I love birthdays and parties and any reason to drink champagne and dance on a table! I'm continuing to celebrate The Asylum's first year this weekend and thought we should do that with a look at your favorite posts!

Lara and Colin's gorgeous East Coast celebration complete with a custom blush wine stained wedding invitation suite by moi was the most coveted Real Wedding! Happy almost Anniversary Lara and Colin!

These beautiful modern gold square cards were printed in white foil with a fresh mix of fonts...these would be my wedding invitations if I did it all over again.

You all seemed to need to make your own unique sized envelope as this post continues to be visited daily!

The most popular recipes were hands down the Strawberry Almond Gelato and Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble...and strawberry season will he here very soon so get ready!

The most visited OUT OF THE BOX INVITATION was the Campfire S'more Kit which will always be one of my favorites as well. I can almost smell the marshmallows roasting!

And lastly the most pinned, most loved guest post was of course by my girl Kristen from House of Luciano with her awesome eyelash curling tutorial!

Thanks for visiting over the past year! Cheers to more faves, more invitations, more fabulous weddings and tutorials!

Last September at this time Kathleen and Matthew (Katie and Matt) were boarding a plane for Ireland to celebrate their wedding, destination style. I had the distinct joy of being the matron of honor in this tremendous celebration across the pond so this one means a lot to me!

Katie and her mother, Sheila, planned every last detail to absolute perfection, it was the most fun and festive wedding I've ever attended....people flew from all over the States to attend including the bride's grandfather; Katie's cousins, aunts and uncles from Northern Ireland also made the trip down to Galway to celebrate. Her lace trumpet style gown and casually styled hair were breathtaking as was the updated church where they exchanged their vows. The couple walked from the church to the reception with the photographer Roberta Cotter who caught some incredible photos on the cobblestone streets.

I created the invitations and everything in between. The Save the Date card featured a photo from my friend and fav photog, Meredith Mascola's trip to Ireland several years ago and we let that dictate the colors of the whole suite! We also wanted to reflect the idea of a postcard as this was a destination wedding. The invitation suite featured a pocket for all the pertinent details as well as a modern Claddagh and tribute to Katie and Matt's Waterford Crystal pattern and the band and several accessory cards. And we may have hidden a few shamrocks in the design to be extra cheeky.

The reception was in the gorgeous Grand Ballroom of the Hotel Meyrick in the center of Galway. The party lasted well past the closing of the dance floor, which my husband had possibly worn a hole in by the end of the reception. Drinks and traditional Irish music continued in the hotel bar for the wedding guests; we laughed and toasted this most special couple until the wee hours of the morning. I will forever have the most precious memories of this amazing event. Slainte!

Today is our 10th Wedding Anniversary! And while on one hand I can't believe it's been that long, I look at our wedding album and see how much we and everyone has changed and think about all the things that have happened since June 28, 2003 and it begins to feel like a lifetime!

Our wedding was one filled with laughter, family and favorite things in life. The wedding was black and white, not a stitch of color to be found, exactly what we wanted. My dress was Vera Wang and my hair inspired by Carrie Bradshaw's high bun on Sex and the City. His tux: classic with no frills, the way we prefer everything. We had all of our siblings in the wedding and a few friends bringing the total bridal party to a whopping 21...and I guess you could say this was where we lost the simplicity! But I'm one of six and he's the oldest of eight so that's the way the cookie crumbles.

I designed our cake and centerpieces along the invitations and table cards...all of which were named after different kinds of martini's. We sat at the Perfect Martini and our favor was the recipe for the Perfect Martini and a donation to Cancer Research in my father's memory.  And to really drive home the theme, we had a Martini Bar! White roses were a recurrent theme throughout as they were part of our engagement story; so they became the only flower in our bouquets and centerpieces.

The guest book was a silver leafed old fashioned photo album with black pages, we asked guests to sign using a white gel pen in any way they saw fit...this was where our guest's personalities really brother and oldest friend Kate actually played Hangman to spell out "Congratulations." And my friend Debbi drew a bride and wrote her well wishes, so adorable. That book is one of the things we most cherish from our day.

It's been an amazing ten years and I can't wait to see what the next ten have in store! I think marriage is a lot like your wedding: you look back on it and there are some things you'd differently but those are just details, when you remember the day, it's the best day of your life in every way...just like he's the best thing in my life in every way.

PS With all my love...

Jennifer and Stephen were married at Seton Hall University and celebrated with family and friends at The Highlawn Pavilion in West Orange, New Jersey. Jennifer was interested one of my signature styles which includes a mix of select fonts to create a modern graphic effect. Stephen is a photographer and art teacher so he was more focused on the paper....we used a 100% cotton rag paper, imported from Italy to fit the groom's taste. A deep fuchsia to match the brides maids dresses tied it all together. Photography by Matt Rainey Photography. Happy Anniversary Jennifer and Stephen!

Stephanie and Derek were married in Brooklyn in July at My Moon, an award winning restaurant in Williamsburg. This abandoned factory has a unique Mediterranean flair and that beautiful combination of New York City and the eclectic and fun nature of the venue was carried throughout Derek and Stephanie's celebration.

We kept the invitations traditional with gold raised ink printed on cotton rag card which feels especially fabulous in hand. The quatrefoil pattern I created for Stephanie and Derek's Save the Date, which also featured a modern silhouette of the Brooklyn Bridge, was carried throughout the wedding including the cake as well as the invitations where it gave the guests a hint at what was to come. Monika Broz documented the celebration with a beautiful eye and special attention to all of the beautiful details that made this wedding so wonderful.
